Grain Discount Schedule

Effective August 18, 2010

#2 Yellow Shelled Corn

Damage 1 cent for each 1% or fraction from 5.1%-7.0%         2 cents for each 1% or fraction from 7.1%-10.0%     3 cents for each 1% or fraction from 10.1%-20.0%. Damage over 20% subject to rejection.
Drying 1.75 cents for each ½% or fraction of moisture over 15.0% for cash, Price Later, or contract.

1.75 cents for each ½% or fraction of moisture over 14.5% for storage.

Shrink 1.4 times the difference between the moisture in and the dried moisture of 15.0% for cash, price later or contract and 14.5% for storage.
Foreign Material 1 cent for each 1% of F.M. from 3.1% to 5.0%      and 2 cents for each 1% above 5.0%.

#2 Yellow Soybeans

Damage

2 cents for each 1.0% or fraction from 2.1% to 5.0%, 4 cents for each 1.0% or fraction from 5.1% to 6.0%. Damage above 6.0% is subject to rejection.

Heat Damage 2 cents from 0.3% to 0.5% and 3 cents for each ½% or fraction from .6% to 5.0%. Heat damage over 5.0% is subject for rejection.
Shrink 1.25% of the gross bushels delivered for each ½% or fraction from 13.1% moisture to 15.0%. 1.75% of the gross bushels delivered for each 1/2% or fraction from 15.1% moisture to 17.0%. Soybeans over 17.0% moisture are subject to rejection.
Foreign Material Foreign material in excess of 1.0% will be deducted from the gross weight.

#2 Soft Red Winter Wheat

Damage 2 cents for each 1.0% or fraction from 4.1% to 5.0%, 5 cents for each 1.0% or fraction from 5.1% to 6.0%, and 10 cents for each 1.0% or fraction from 6.1% to 7.0%. Damage over 7.0% is subject to rejection.
Moisture 1.0% of the selling price for each ½% or fraction of moisture over 13.5%.
Foreign Material Foreign material in excess of 1.0% will be deducted from the gross weight.

Other Factors For All Grains

Sour

10 cents per net bushel.

Moldy

5 cents per net bushel.

Buggy

10 cents per net bushel.

Heating

10 cents per net bushel.

All discounts are subject to change.

Grain Testing and Grading Procedures

Yellow Shelled Corn moistures will be averaged down to 14.5% for storage and 15.0% for cash, contracts, and delayed pricing. Moisture below 14.0% will be marked dry and the 14.0% used for averaging.

Yellow Soybean moistures will be averaged on a daily basis from 15.0% down to 13.0%. Moisture less than 12.0% will be marked dry and the 12.0% used for averaging. Beans in excess of 15.0% moisture will not be averaged. Beans over 17.0% are subject to rejection.

Soft Red Winter Wheat moistures will be averaged from 16.0% down to 12.0%. Moistures less than 12.0% will be marked dry and the 12.0% used for averaging. Wheat over 16.0% moisture is not acceptable for delivery.

Each load of grain delivered will be tested for moisture and quality.

Discount factors for damage and foreign material (FM) will be done on a LOAD BY LOAD BASIS for all commodities.

Soybean moistures will continue to be averaged on a daily delivery basis.

Upon request, a composite which carries discounts other than moisture will be sent to the Federal Grain Inspection Service for grading. Settlements will be made on the basis of the FGIS grade.
